Fresno Unified School District website at http://www.fresno.k12.ca.us/. Next, click on the schools tab and then select the grade level. In this case I’m going to select Elementary. All

elementary schools in the Fresno Unified School District are now displayed. I’m now going to click on the school I want research on in my job search. I’m going to click on Fremont. In the middle of the webpage select School Accountability Report Card.

You get Student Enrollment by Grade Level, Student Enrollment by Group (race), Average Class Size and Class Size Distribution (Elementary Only), Average Class Size and Class Size Distribution (Secondary Only), Suspensions and Expulsions, School Facility Conditions and Improvements Report, School Facility Good Repair Status, Teacher Credentials, Teacher Misassignments and Vacant Teacher Positions, Core Academic Classes Taught by No Child Left Behind Compliant Teachers, Quality, Currency, and Availability of Textbooks and Instructional Materials, Expenditures Per Pupil and School Site Teacher Salaries, Beginning Teacher Salary, Mid-Range Teacher Salary, Highest Teacher Salary, and much more!

As you can already tell, each schools SARC is a treasure of information for anyone seeking a California job as a teacher! This information will also help you create questions to ask your interviewer about the school, which looks very good by the way.
