If you are giving a retirement speech for a teacher, or you are a teacher retiring yourself, here are a few good one-liners that you can put into your speech that will have your colleagues patting you on the back after words and telling you what a great speech you made.

“The best time to start thinking about your retirement is before the boss does.”

“[teacher name] always arrived late to work, but he made up for it by leaving early”. - Charles Lamb

“Early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.”

“Alright [science teacher name] you proved you are smarter than me when you told me the speed of light. OK, so what’s the speed of dark?”

“Conservatives say if you don’t give the rich more money, they will lose their incentive to invest. As for the poor, they tell us they’ve lost all incentive because we’ve given them too much money.” –George Carlin

“Nice perfume. Must you marinate in it?”
