Know the Correct Movements in PE For the CSET
Filed Under CSET | Leave a Comment
One of the worst feelings you can have when taking your CSET is to be hit with a multiple choice or essay question about basic movements in sports like basketball or volleyball and not knowing how to answer. It’s one of those questions that seem so easy, yeah, I know how to hit a volleyball but I never really thought about the positions of my hips, shoulders, hands, etc. while doing it.
As a teacher in grades K – 6, you need to know how to teach the correct body positions for throwing, catching, hitting a ball, jumping, running, etc.
In the video below we look briefly at hitting a volleyball in a variety of ways, and throwing a basketball by taking a few questions from Ace the CSET Multiple Subjects.
