giving 25, to form the new numerator, and use the 8 as the new denominator. The answer is 25/8

6. Multiply the 7 (the denominator), and the 12 (the whole number). To this product, add the 3 (the numerator) giving 87, to form the new numerator, and use the 7 as the new denominator. The answer is 87/7

7. Multiply the 3 (the denominator), and the 4 (the whole number). To this product, add the 2 (the numerator) giving 14, to form the new numerator, and use the 3 as the new denominator. The answer is 14/3
